Leafing
Jason and I went leaf peeping a couple weeks ago in New Hampshire. We decided to take a day trip and drive North to the Kancamagus Highway in the White Mountains to see what the fuss was about. It was beautiful. You really didn't need to leave your car, which was good for us since JP was with us. He was a trooper and only fussed a little in the car on the way home (traffic on 128, go figure).
We'd like to go back next year and do some hiking when our little man is a bit more mobile :)
JP did need to make a pit stop for a snack...

Bath Time with Grandma & Pap Pap
JP loves bath time. Grandma and Pap Pap had fun giving JP a bath when they were visiting a few weeks ago :)
Visitors
A couple weeks ago, my best friend from high school came to visit us with her husband. Robin and Aaron stayed for 5 days and saw all 6 New England states. They were maniacs! We loved having them here and hope they come back soon!

Another New Cousin
While in WV, Baby Jason got to meet another new cousin! Hunter Michael is three months younger than JP, and I foresee these two getting into some trouble together in the years to come ;)
JP says, "Dude, these are some sweet pants!"
Hunter says, "Better than the lame WVU Crap my parents usually put me in!"

Trip to WV
JP and I took a brief trip to West Virginia to visit family. It was the first time all 5 Palmer children were together since our wedding over 6 1/2 years ago! It was great to have everyone together and all the grandkids running around (sans Alicia, our Buckeye).
I took a ton of pictures and I haven't had a chance to edit any yet, but I'll throw a couple up right now anyway.

Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'
JP has been rolling from belly to back since he was 9 days old. Today he rolled from back to belly! He has been sleeping on his side for a while now, but never completely made it to his belly on his own. He gets his whole body rolled over but his left arm gets stuck under him. Today he pulled that left arm out and was flat on his belly!! We're so proud!!
I'm trying to catch it on video...stay tuned :)

5 Months Old
It's so hard for me to believe my baby is 5 months old. He's becoming more and more of a "person" each day with his own little personality. He's very laid back and loves to smile and laugh - rarely cries for no reason. He's such a happy little boy. I never imagined I would love being a mommy this much!!!
If I could just skip the whole pregnancy part, I think I'd have a dozen little JPs!!!!
Here he is at 5 months :)
